THE AİM OF THİS PROJECT:

Students' ability to recognize the basic components of climate change and the elements of this complex system and the interactions within and between a system, their awareness and individual responsibility behaviors such as argumentation-based thinking, research, inquiry, cooperation, problem-based learning, etc. with their approaches.

In addition, it is among the aims of the project to raise awareness by enabling them to recognize these new ways of thinking and acting in the early stages and to prepare them for the future.

Thus, students will be able to take active roles in this process by becoming aware of their individual responsibilities for a sustainable environment.

Because, establishing students' efforts to combat climate change in education through precautionary rather than reactive behavior will reduce climate vulnerability. Because predicted climate changes have both positive and negative effects on water resources, agriculture, natural ecosystems and human health. The greater the changes in climate, the greater the strength of adverse effects. It is observed that the climate is very sensitive to both this magnitude and speed. In this sense, it is very important to realize the sustainability of the existing climate order. We held the first meeting of the e-twining project with 12 partners, from Edirne to Antalya, from Slovenia to Lithuania, from Black Sea Ereğli to Ankara, that we started as Etimesgut Science and Art Center and in which we are involved. Understanding climate change is a difficult process, but rather than awareness, I We started the project, which we think will have gains in terms of responsibility for what can I do, with the good enthusiasm of our students.
